Sarah Palin was born Sarah Louise Heath on February 11, 1964 in Sandpoint, Idaho. Her family moved to southeast Alaska to take a teaching jobs when Sarah was only 3 months old.
Sarah’s father, Charles, was a Science teacher and a track coach. Sarah’s mother, Sally, was a school secretary.
Sarah Palin grew up in Wasilla, which is about 40 miles north of Anchorage.
Sarah earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Idaho in 1987. She was also a television sports reporter in Anchorage, Alaska.
Sarah Palin is a lifetime member of the N.R.A. ( National Rifle Association ).
In 1988, Sarah and her high school sweetheart, Todd Palin were married. Sarah helped to run his familys fishing business.

In 2003, Alaskan Governor Frank Murkowski appointed Sarah Palin as Chair to the state’s Oil and Gas Conservation Commission. She resigned a year later in protest what she perceived as “lack of ethics” of fellow Alaskan Republican leaders, including Republican Party Chair Randy Ruedrich.
In 2006, Sarah Palin won the Republican Primary for Governor of Alaska, defeating Frank Murkowski. She then won the General Election in November 2006. She defeated Democratic Governor Tony Knowles by a margin of 49% to 41%.
On December 4, 2006, Sarah Palin made history as the youngest and as the first female to become Governor of the great state of Alaska. She was also the first Governor to be born after Alaska received statehood in 1959.
Sarah Palin’s administration focused on education, transportation, and public safety. She had an administration that was open and transparent and ethical.
Sarah Palin is unashamedly PRO-LIFE. Sarah Palin is a Conservative Protestant and therefore is against ALL abortions unless the mother’s life is in danger. Ms. Palin also opposes embryonic stem cell research.
Sarah Palin supported her Alaska’s decision to ban same-sex marriages.
Sarah Palin is an honest, ethical and intelligent woman who loves God, loves her family, and loves her country. She has moral values and stands up for what she believes in. In my opinion, she will make a great President of our beloved United States of America.
